Huatulco, located south of Oaxaca, covers a long stretch of Pacific coastline carved into nine beautiful bays. The coastal terrain here is shaped by the southern Sierra Madre mountains meeting the Pacific Ocean, creating tranquil bays and coves with scores of charming crescent-shaped beaches embraced by verdant cliffs and lapped by crystalline blue-green waters. Many of the beaches are only accessible by private boat.
